** MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS **
----------------------------------------------------
Run your life like
a successful business.
It is, it's YOUR business, it's your most IMPORTANT business. Reflect on what
a successful business does and adopt the same principles for your own life:
1. Develop a plan, write it down in detail. Spend time on this so others will
invest in your plan. Be able to present it clearly with defined steps.
2. Have specific dates that you want to accomplish your goals by. Once you
have defined the big goals, break them down into smaller components and write
down the steps, dates and resources required.
3. Have regular meetings to confirm that everything is going in the right
direction and that the mission hasn't changed.
4. Begin each day writing down what you want to accomplish and what you need
to organize to be productive.
5. Bring in experts to help you with areas you lack skill, motivation or time
to do. DON'T try doing it all yourself!
6. Push yourself to grow and develop beyond what you've already accomplished.
Stay hungry, stay a little scared. Discomfort motivates you to MOVE.
CREATE YOUR SUCCESS:
Do things that scare you.
Push yourself a little every day.
Work every week to become more organized, review your goals and set new ones.
As each month passes, notice that your efforts have developed better habits of
organization and that you are able to accomplish more with your time. Live my
life in ways that avoid stress and delegate to others in areas that you are
not interested in developing expertise. Focus on getting the most out of your
time by doing what you do well and having others do the rest.
